Frequently Asked Questions About Our Courses

Where are the courses/demonstrations held?

Flower and modelling classes and demonstrations are mainly held in the shop in Wendover.  Messy, cupcake or large cake covering classes are held at Debbies home in Stoke Mandeville.

What should I bring with me?

For demonstration Evenings, you do not need to bring anything with you.  Most people bring a notepad and pen and a phone to take pictures of the finished cakes.  Lots of questions get asked and lots of advice is given.

For the courses and workshops what you bring will depend on the nature of the course you are on.Generally and apron, non stick board and a small rolling pin as well as any modelling tools you may have.  We do have some tools available to borrowhowever it in generally easier if you have your own.  All tools and equipment are always available to purchase on the night at a 10% discount.

Where can I park?

There is free parking after 6pm along the High Street in Wendover, and on the Aylesbury Rd just around the corner from the shop.  There is also a public car park clearly signposted by the library, which is apporoximately 200 metres away.

If you are attending a class at Debbies house, please feel free to use her driveway.  There is usually parking available on the street, although please be considerate of neighbours.

Are children allowed?

At the current time, children under the age of 16 are not allowed to the majority of our evening courses.  This decision is based on feedback from our customers who enjoy and adult evening without children.  We do offer parent and child classes where the child must be over 10.  These are clearly indicated on the class information.  On demonstration evenings we will allow children over the age of 12 as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
